Leash Training Dogs - From Puppy to Senior - Leash Training is Essential

Leash Training is Essential. Whether your dog is a brand new, beautiful little puppy - or your dog is a Senior Citizen that was never properly trained...leash training is your top priority.

Leash Training requires special equipment. Many dogs, my own included, were trained using "chocker collars". Yes, it was "negative" training, but highly effective.

Never use a chocker collar without instruction. It is not intuitive, and the point of using it is to put pressure on the dog's neck --- not to harm or pinch it.

Even better, I suggest you watch this You Tube because it has really good advice about using walking collars that really work, and do not cause harm or pain to the dog.

At a dog equipment show, I purchased a dog collar like the one described in this video, and it worked amazingly well. (It hooked in the front).

My sister's Bichon ALWAYS pulled when it walked. I used the technique of changing directions, and this worked very well. My sister, however, found this technique to be tiring.

The new collar was like a miracle. IMMEDIATELY, it worked. The Bichon walks like a little gentleman, and he looks so proud and happy. I promise you, the dog does not pull anymore. And it is a pleasure to walk him.

Because I was not familiar with this type of collar, I asked our Dog Walker about it. And she said, "Yes, I know that the collars that hook in the front --- work really well. I don't know why, but it seems to stop the dog from pulling".

The collar I use is called "Walk Your Dog With Love. com". The guy who sold it to me said he was the owner of the company, and he begged everyone at the show to try it, claiming it would absolutely stop the dog from pulling. Everyone who tried it at the show said that it worked.
